My top five tips for staying alive for a long time...
1. Don't smoke
2. Don't shave (or at least, not every day)
3. Live in Andorra (or at least, in the same continent)
4. Have friends and family by all means - but be wary of them (you're far more likely to be murdered by someone you know than someone you don't know so you're actually safer hanging around with people you don't know)
5. Eat
That's a start. But I realise I've got more to learn. I'm not even a quarter of the way to my target yet. So if you have any more top tips, please get in touch. If you disagree with any of mine, let me know by leaving a comment on this very blog post below.
And if you yourself are very old, please tell me how you got that way (if you don't have a computer, I'll come and visit you. Also, if you don't have a computer, I don't know how you're reading this).





I think you should add a spoonful of olive oil every day! Try a chilli oil- has more vitamins than oranges!

Have pets, they extend your life by 5 years! and have friends, because they extend your life by 9 years!
But you've a tough challenge, the oldest person ever got to 256... sorry to get you down...
I suggest you meditate every day, too. And don't do anything dangerous : )

Hey Alex, just came across your blog through innocent's website... you're probably getting a lot of views thanks to the innocent guys lately ;)
One of the best ways to keep young, healthy and - most importantly - alive is to drink green tea. It'll probably save you 30-50 years from now from all kinds of age-related diseases, keeps your DNA nice and fresh and it's even good for your teeth (you'll want to keep those as well for as long as you can...) Also, the antioxidants in green tea are by far more powerful than those in fruit & veg, so you really are making a big difference with it. Lastly It helps detoxication, which is a good idea from time to time, especially if you want to feel well in the process of becoming the oldest man in the world...
